Bodyboardingwa.com, like most pursuits in industry, wasn’t created out of a desire for fame or fortune, but to genuinely contribute something to the sport we're most passionate about.

It was made in early 2003 by two Perth bodyboarders with a little bit of time on their hands, and an idea to create a site where like minded individuals could share information, opinions and knowledge about bodyboarding and whatever else they felt like.

In 2005, we received out first major sponsors in 662mob, Biarms Wetsuits and Hottie.com.au. At out peak, had well over 2000 active members. As many of you would have noticed, we crashed in late 2006 after being royally screwed by our server, but we're back and keen as ever to get back to where we were.

Those who've seen us before know who we are and what we're about, so we feel we need to tout any corny phrases at you about how we're "the real deal" or "the definitive source in bodyboarding". We're all about having fun - and that goes hand in hand with bodyboarding.
